Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust have reported several familiarity issues with their recently implemented electronic patient record.

The southern trust deployed CSC's Lorenzo in November of last year, but since go-live, there have been a number of concerns raised regarding the system.
According to the February Board Papers, staff in several departments have struggled to comprehend the system fully - leading to potential mismanagement of patient data, but, according to Salisbury, a contingency is now in place.
"The Trust has experienced some initial problems bedding in the new Electronic Patient Record system and acknowledges that there have been some issues relating to the speed and familiarity of the new system among staff", a spokesperson told BJ-HC.
“The Trust has introduced additional training and greater IT support in clinical areas and CSC have agreed to assist staff in a number of areas over the coming weeks to help with issues.”
